The OpenNet Initiative has gathered info from coutries that are known to squelch internet speech.
The study will be published this spring, shows a dramatic increase in government filtering of the Web.
It’s spreading throuout the world having begun in China and spread to countries like Egypt, Syria, Tunisia, Iran, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus.
